Established in 2012, Principle Transport Group is led by Managing Partners Sheila Jackson, CEO, and David Miller, Executive Vice President.
Sheila Jackson – CEO
Sheila Jackson has spent over 20 years in business management, ownership and consulting. She has specialized in transportation management services since 2005, with a special emphasis in the energy sector of North America.
Sheila brings over two decades of entrepreneurial skills to all she serves. Her passion for people and relationship-driven leadership, Sheila leads the PTG team while continuing to develop and support a variety of global organizations.
Through these relationships, she co-founded Principle Transport Group with Partner George Mercer. In addition, her relationship forged over the years with David Miller, Executive Vice President, has added tremendous value to the PTG leadership team.
Sheila lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband Joe. Between them,they are raising their 4 children and 5 dogs. Her interests include cycling, running, reading, volunteering & supporting non-profit child advocacy and animal rescue organizations.
David Miller – Executive Vice President
Joining PTG in 2014, David brings more than 24 years experience in all modes of transportation and logistics. He has held various positions at the executive level for nationally recognized companies.
Over the years, David has built long-standing relationships while continuing to foster a more personal feel to doing business. This is consistent with the core values of PTG.
David lives in Mansfield, Texas with his wife Carin and two sons. His interests include running, supporting both sons in their academic and athletic achievements while giving back to the community. He has volunteered since 2009 as a Youth Mentor for St. John’s Lutheran Church. Since 2012, he also holds the position of Chairman of the BOD for this same non-profit organization.
Bo Sutton – Operations Manager
Bo provides logistics solutions, personnel and managed transportation services to small, mid-sized and Fortune 500 Companies.
Prior to serving the organization and the team at PTG, he completed training as a Firefighter and Paramedic. Bo spent the following 3 years living in Aspen where he worked for companies like Aspen Ski Company, certifying in specialized training such as avalanche emergency services on the mountains of Snowmass.
A lover of all things outdoors, in his spare time you will find Bo surfing in Hawaii or Costa Rica or hunting in Texas with his chocolate lab, Moose.
The merger of these experienced professionals has resulted in a joint venture and leadership capable of addressing each company’s unique transportation needs in a thorough, responsive and cost-effective way.
PTG’s corporate office is located in Willow Park, Texas, serving clients nationwide and in Canada.
